Note(Research):He was born in Ireland or Northern Ireland. The naturalization papers for his brother Robert John Adams show Robert was born near Londonderry (now Northern) Ireland in 1878 and that he entered the U.S. in 1883. The 1900 Census shows place of birth for William Adams and his sons Robert John and William as Ireland and that none of them had been naturalized. The 1920 Census shows that William Adams was born in the U.S. and place of birth for both of his parents was shown as Ire (English). The 1925 Census shows that he was born in Kansas. It is the conclusion of this researcher that William Adams was born in Ireland and probably near what is now Londonderry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
