MEDICAL: Suffered a stroke caused by medical procedure that left her unable to talk or use her right side, two years later she died of a heart attack. She had a androysm on her heart.
BIO: She worked most of her married life, she was a welder in WWII in Portland at the shipyards, before she came to OR, her and her husband Paul had a farm, they owned a service station in Warren were her son Billy was killed, later they owned a Burgher Motors in St. Helens, OR, it was a Nash Rambler dealership and garage. When they moved to their home in Ocean Park, WA she worked in the oyster canniers waitressing and cooking at various restaurants and her last job was delivering the mail from the Pennisula to the Astoria Post Office. She loved to walk on the beach and gather shells and wood which she put together as all kinds of little creatures. She garden until her illness and loved her flowers and yard. |
