Sally's father and mother moved to Harrison County early in the 1830s where James died, as you have noted, in 1836. There was another ?brother? of James Ellis named William Ellis who was in northern KY in Campbell or Boone County and probably came from Fauquier with him. [Sally's daughter, Tabitha, was my great-grandmother; John and Sally named their oldest son Elias Satterly and several Foster children named a son Elias [related to Tabitha's family.]
